Gas Weed Burners

You will receive your weed burner kit partly assembled with the high-pressure adjustable regulator, 3-metre hose and the control handpiece, being the main component of the kit. Separately supplied are the burner head and stem. To complete the burner unit screw the loose nut on the end of the extension pipe to the male thread on the end of the control handpiece. Tighten with a spanner. Screw the pol fittings on the adjustable regulator onto your gas cylinder and spanner tighten. The unit is now ready to light and operate.
Open the cylinder valve, holding the control handpiece, lightly open the gas flow with the black screw knob on the side of the control handpiece. Light the burner with your match, it will begin with as a lazy small flame. You are now ready to adjust the flame for operation. Adjust the black control knob to give the gas flow required. You can now further adjust the flow rate and intensity of the heat by depressing the trigger downwards. The intensity of heat you can adjust by the high-pressure adjustable regulator by loosening the lock nut under the control knob, adjusting and then lock the nut again.

At the completion of the job first turn off the gas valve at the cylinder, empty the burner and hose of gas and close the trigger. This helps to maintain regulator life.

Adult supervision is required at all times, as the heat output is very intense. This burner kit will last for many years when used carefully.
