Q: How do I know when to order a replacement cylinder?
A: This depends on whether you have an automatic or manual regulator. Please watch our helpful video to find out more.

Q: Can a 45kg LPG gas cylinder be used inside a home?
A: NO. 45kg gas cylinders should never be used or stored inside a home.

Q: How many litres in a 45kg gas cylinder?
A: 88.2 litres

Q: How is my home LP gas delivered?
A: Adelaide Hills Gas have several local delivery drivers that will deliver you gas cylinder in a truck.

Q: What day is gas delivered in my residential area?

Q: What should we do if we are moving?
A: Please contact the office at your earliest convenience. We can transfer the account to your new residential address or make note of the new owner’s details. It is best to close your account once you have moved from the premises to avoid any confusion and in-accurate charges for cylinders or rental.

Q:Why does the gas supplier need a copy of the gas certificate of compliance?
A: We can make the initial delivery of gas to your home
without the Certificate Of Compliance but we cannot
connect the cylinder/s. Upon ordering the next delivery
we are required to have this form.

When a new home is built or an extension has been
made a licensed gas fitter is required to sign off on a
“Gas Certificate of Compliance” form. This shows that
the work has been completed and it is safe to deliver
LP Gas. As the gas supplier we are legally required to
keep a copy on record.

Q:Why is there a strong odour of gas at the bottom of gas cylinders?
A:
LPG has a chemical odorant added to assist in the detection of LPG leaks. You may also notice this smell when you are getting low on a gas cylinder. The odour may come through near the appliance which is an indication your gas cylinder may need replacing.
